About RetRome | Vintage styled apartments

The RetRome project was born from a combination of our interest in art and design and our experience in the fields of tourism and hospitality. Interiors are designed by a group of young artists, who collaborate to brilliantly recreate the optimistic and comfy ambience of a 1950’s 60’s & 70’s Rome, without giving up contemporary and comfortable features. How do we create our properties? The guide lines we work with are:

  1. Location - the best areas of central Rome are only the starting criteria for us; on top of that the apartment has to be quiet. Another important factor are not too many steps when an elevator is not available.
  2. Service - The difference between the RetRome and other apartment rentals companies/websites is that we actually manage the properties 360°: starting from decorating the apartments, choosing the linen, cleaning the apartments, checking you in and assisting with any further requests.
  3. Design - That special little edge that gives a unique feel to the RetRome experience. We collect all the furniture, select the colors to each specific property and try to create a little time capsule of the 1960’s or 1970’s for you to enjoy when you come in after a day of exploring our great city.
